Urban Prep creates program experiences that impact young people and communities. Explore support for school-age youth and emerging adults.

Early foundations

Grades K–5

For elementary-age youth, Urban Prep focuses on social-emotional learning and character development, building skills to support a strong start in school.

Discovery & connection

Grades 6–8

An engaging, interactive focus on self-discovery, skill building, and enduring connections with peers, trusted adults, and community. Youth also take part in service learning and structured recreation reflecting their interests.

Practice & leadership

Grades 9–12

Teens build character and life, learning, and leadership skills through real-world practice, finding structure, support, connection, and community.

Prepped for Success

Emerging adults
ages 18–24

Every young person has the potential to learn, lead, and succeed, whatever their circumstances or starting point. The program connects young adults with wraparound support and a personal success coach to help plan for education, employment, and economic security.

Services are coordinated with community-based organizations so participants can connect with supports that fit their needs.
